Thiruvananthapuram: CPI on Friday officially declared its candidates for the two remaining seats Manjeri and Eranad Assembly constituencies. The party decided to field advocate Mohandas from Majeri and K T Abdu Rahman from Eranad. The CPI had earlier announced candidates for the 25 of the 27 seats allotted to the party by the LDF.
With the party now declaring the names of all candidates, the district councils have been asked to plunge into election campaign straight away. Some of the candidates have already started visiting market places, news paper offices, prominent personalities in their respective constituency.
