Chennai: For the first time in several years, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth stepped out of his Poes Garden residence on Monday on the occasion of New Year and greeted his fans. His outreach came a day after he announced that he would launch a political party ahead of the next assembly elections and contest all 234
seats.
Clad in a white shirt and white dhoti, the superstar came out of his residence and greeted his fans. Hundreds of fans who had gathered went into a rapturous frenzy the moment they saw their Thalaivar waving his hands at them. Waving his hands occasionally, the superstar gave his fans and supporters darshan for a few minutes before getting back into his house.
A few hours later, Rajinikanth released a video asking his official and non-official fans associations to integrate with each other.
