Hyderabad: Jana Sena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan on Monday met with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao to discuss about the state government’s 24x7 free power supply to farmers.
After one-and-a-half hour meeting, the Jana Sena chief said they did not politics and he was happy that farmers in Telangana would be getting 24x7 power. He said it is a great achievement as the Chief Minister has made it possible something that was considered impossible.
He recalled that the statements by former chief minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy suggesting that after division of Andhra Pradesh, Telang-ana would suffer due to power scarcity. He said senior Cong-ress leader Jana Reddy also had said that he would campaign for the TRS if the power was supplied free of cost for 24x7.
