K Chandrasekhar Rao rally in city on Sunday, to end campaign in Gajwel
Hyderabad: TRS president and Telangana state caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who gives much importance to ‘sentiment’, will end his election campaign at his home constituency Gajwel. He had ended his 2014 campaign too in Gajwel.
Before that, he will hold a public meeting at Parade Ground, Secunderabad, on December 2. The TRS will mobilise people constituencies in Hyderabad district.
Caretaker irrigation minister T. Harish Rao, who is looking after the arrangements for the Gajwel public meeting on December 5, the last day of campaign, said, “In the 2014 Assembly elections the last meeting was held at Gajwel and the TRS came to power. The last meeting now will be at Gajwel and the TRS will win this time too.”
With five days left for the campaign to end, all parties have intensified their canvassing. Mr Rao has addressed about 75 meetings so far but has not canvassed in the city.
According to TRS sources, Mr Rao will release the TRS manifesto on Saturday. To prepare for this, he will not campaign during the day. The TRS has not issued any tour programme of Mr Rao for December 1. He will resume his campaign on Sunday.
