Naidu thanks Telugu people worldwide for support
VIJAYAWADA: Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu conveyed his wholehearted thanks to all Telugu people worldwide for expressing their solidarity and supporting him in the last 52 days of his imprisonment in the alleged AP skill development scam.
Soon after coming out of Central Prison in Rajamahendravaram after getting interim bail on Tuesday, he said when he had been put into trouble, people from all walks of life came out. They extended their support and offered prayers for him.
“I will never forget the love they have shown towards me,” Chandrababu said.
He pointed out that people from not only both Telugu speaking states, but from the country and around the world had shown their support by taking to streets.
The TD chief observed that the people recognised and have responded to the development he initiated. He felt no other leader would have experienced such love and solidarity from people.
Chandrababu thanked every political party and each leader who stood by him. He extended special thanks to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for this open and unwavering support. He also expressed his gratitude to parties like BJP, CPI, BRS and Congress.
He maintained that he has not made any mistake in his 45-year-long political career and vowed to continue the same in the future.
The TD chief said his party leaders and activists had fought courageously in the last 52 days. He expressed his thanks to TD activists who took out a cycle yatra from Srikakulam to Kuppam. He extended thanks to IT professionals in Hyderabad for showing their support and remembering all his work. He also thanked media for supporting him.
