Hyderabad: The BJP on Wednesday alleged that there were huge irregularities in the disbursement of financial assistance to beneficiaries under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The party demanded a White Paper on the details of the CMRF beneficiaries and the amount released since TRS government came to power in 2014. It said the CMO had no details for 98.5 per cent of the funds released through the CMRF.
BJP official spokesperson Krishna Sagar Rao said the government itself admitted the regularities in CMRF through an RTI query. Mr Rao said the CMRF website lacked details of the beneficiaries which proves beyond doubt that there is no transparency.
