Opposition is in confusion, says KT Rama Rao
Hyderabad: TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Wednesday said that Opposition parties in the state are in a state of utter confusion and frustration as the people are not believing their malicious propaganda against the ruling party.
While talking to the media persons in Telangana Bhavan, Mr Rama Rao said that his meeting with Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan was only a courtesy call as he could not meet him for past two and three months.
He said that the TRS is very keen on making the ongoing membership drive successful, but the opposition parties have are hurling the mud at the ruling party.
Mr Rama Rao said that 50 lakh people have been enrolled in the party across the state since June 27. In Hyderabad, the TRS working president said the party will have to take steps to complete the targets.
The working president has also handed over a cheque of `11.21 lakh to the United India Insurance Company as an insurance premium for `2 lakh accident insurance to each party member.
Replying a question he said that the party is prepared to face municipal elections as and when the State Election Comm-ission issues the notification.
