Vellapally Natesan slams Kerala decision to oust T P Senkumar
ALAPPUZHA: In the wake of TP Senskumar coming out in public expressing dissatisfaction in the manner in which he was removed from the post as DGP (Law and Order), Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam , General Secretary Vellapally Natesan on Tuesday hit out at government’s decision to replace the state police chief .
Talking to reporters here, Mr Natesan said that Senkumar was honest police officer. ‘It is not common, Governments shuffle top official posts in the public administration when it takes over administration. But, this government is trying to appoint loyalists to key posts.
It will create far-fetched consequences', he said. It was on Monday the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan signed the order replacing T.P. Senkumar with Loknath Behera DGP (fire force). The order was issued even as Mr Kumar has a whole year remaining as DGP (Law and Order).
