VIJAYAWADA: Opinions differed among the BJP leaders in AP on Saturday’s meeting between Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan and Telugu Desam in Hyderabad.
BJP state president Somu Veerraju said meetings between leaders are common. Regarding continuation of the alliance between the BJP and JS, he said it was upto Pawan to clarify about the BJP-JS alliance but the BJP was honouring the alliance with JS.
BJP national secretary Y Satyakumar said Jana Sena is an independent political party and Pawan Kalyan has the right to hold talks with any political party. “While JS is BJP’s alliance party, there is nothing wrong if Pawan meets Chandrababu,” he said.
