PM helped 15 rich people at expense of poor, says Rahul Gandhi

Rahul said that people in the Narendra Modi government have also moved Supreme Court against me for making it public.

Bhopal: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had helped 15 rich people in the country at the expense of poor.

Addressing an election meeting at Bundelkhand’s Tikamgarh, Mr Gandhi said the PM had diverted money meant for the development of poor to fund the 15 rich people in the country.

He added that people in the Narendra Modi government have also moved Supreme Court against me for making it public.

“The BJP has also moved Election Commission seeking to restrain me from using the word “chowkidar”. But, ‘chowkidar’ had given money meant for development of the poor to the 15 rich people,” he said.

“Mr Modi had failed to fulfil his promise of providing Rs 15 lakh each to the people in the country. But he gave Rs 5 lakh crore to rich people,” he added.
