Seat-sharing talks after March 4

Chennai: The People's Welfare Front (PWF) is all set to commence its third phase of election campaign on Tuesday from Avadi. “We will be holding seat sharing talks after completing the third phase of campaign in Tiruvallur, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram and Kancheepuram districts from March 1 to 4,” said a PWF leader.

After the third phase of campaigning, leaders of the four parties will meet in the city to decide on the number of seats and identification of seats to be contested by each party, said sources. By the time, the campaign ends on March 4, PWF leaders are expecting some clarity on DMDK’s stand, the sources said.
