Police Raid Prostitution Ring in Abids Hotel: 16 Women Rescued

Hyderabad: The central zone task force and Abids police raided a brothel at a hotel at Abids and rescued 16 women from a prostitution ring and arrested the owner Akhil Yadav of Ramnagar, staff members, two agents and two customers. They had been using the hotel as a brothel, Abids inspector T. Narsimha Raju said. Akhil Yadav and his manager G. Ravipathi and agents trapped girls by promising them jobs, food and accommodation and pushed them into the commercial sex trade. The rescued victims were shifted to a home in Tukkuguda.
