BHUBANESWAR: A simple yet heart warming moment unfolded outside President Droupadi Murmu’s residence on Wednesday when Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi paused his convoy to interact with a group of enthusiastic children waiting for a glimpse of the President.
As his vehicle approached the barricaded area, the Chief Minister noticed the children standing eagerly by the roadside. In an unscripted gesture, he asked his driver to stop. Stepping out of the car, Majhi walked up to the children, waved at them, and began speaking with them in a warm and friendly manner.
The unexpected interaction instantly lit up young faces. The children, visibly thrilled, listened intently as the Chief Minister engaged them with simple yet meaningful questions. Pointing towards the President’s residence, he asked them whose house it was, quizzed them about their dreams for the future, and even invited them to name the Chief Minister of Odisha.
