NEET Re-Exam Shows Ministry Synergy: Modi

The NEET-UG re-examination was conducted on Sunday across centres in India and overseas under security arrangements.

New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday stressed coordination among ministries and departments, citing the conduct of the NEET-UG re-examination as an example.

Sources said that during a Union Cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the need for a “whole of government approach” in addressing challenges and referred to the coordinated efforts behind the smooth conduct of the re-test.

He is learnt to have said that seamless coordination between ministries was key to overcoming challenges.

The NEET-UG re-examination was conducted on Sunday across centres in India and overseas under security arrangements.

The Prime Minister had also emphasised inter-ministerial coordination during the West Asia crisis to ensure that energy supply issues did not affect the public.

He had earlier called for joint efforts across ministries to maintain energy security, maritime safety and provide assistance to Indian nationals.

The Centre has set up inter-ministerial groups and has been holding regular briefings to monitor the energy situation following the West Asia conflict.
