51 helicopters will be inducted into the Indian Navy and 25 into the Indian Coast Guard: RFI

New Delhi: The Indian Navy has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to acquire 76 Naval Utility Helicopters. According to the RFI, 51 helicopters will be inducted into the Indian Navy and 25 into the Indian Coast Guard. The Navy plans to deploy these helicopters for maritime search and rescue, casualty evacuation, communication duties, and low-intensity maritime operations (LIMO).
