Nagpur NEET Candidate Gets Abu Dhabi Centre
The discrepancy surfaced a day before the re-examination, when a nationwide mock drill was conducted to test arrangements for the exam.

Nagpur: A NEET-UG 2026 candidate from Nagpur was mistakenly allotted an examination centre in Abu Dhabi for Sunday’s re-examination, prompting his parents to approach the authorities for correction.
The student, Abdulla Talib, had opted for centres in Nagpur, Wardha and Bhandara. However, his admit card issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) showed an overseas centre.
His father, Dr Mohammed Talib, said the family raised the issue with the NTA, which assured them that a revised centre would be allotted.
The discrepancy surfaced a day before the re-examination, when a nationwide mock drill was conducted to test arrangements for the exam.
Reacting to the incident, Congress leader Anees Ahmed said such errors add to the stress faced by students.
“However, the government machinery is not improving. Don't play with the career of students,” he said. — PTI
