Nagaram Land Dispute Ends: Supreme Court Upholds Telangana High Court Verdict on Bhoodan Plots

The High Court had previously validated the ownership of the officials who bought the land

Hyderabad: The Supreme Court has upheld a Telangana High Court verdict, dismissing a petition concerning a land dispute over alleged Bhoodan lands in Nagaram village, Maheswaram mandal, Rangareddy district.

The case was brought by Beerla Mallesh, who claimed that plots purchased by several IAS and IPS officers were originally designated as Bhoodan lands, arguing that the land transactions were invalid.
The High Court had previously validated the ownership of the officials who bought the land. By dismissing Mallesh's challenge at the preliminary stage, the apex court affirmed the High Court's ruling, thus concluding the dispute in favour of the IAS and IPS officers.
