Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government is planning to open the markets, malls, and restaurants in the urban areas in the state for 24 hours to generate employment and augment its revenue, officials said here on Friday.

The proposed move will benefit the employees of the Information Technology (IT)-related units and other industries.
Under the present rule, the markets, malls and restaurants are allowed to function till ten pm.
States of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Telangana have already implemented the move, officials said.
