MP Mantri In Hotel Ruckus Row, Says Restaurant Staff Misbehaved With Him
Congress here on Monday took to social media X to slam the minister for the incident.

BHOPAL: A minister in the Mohan Yadav ministry landed in controversy when his security official had a tiff with the hotel staff in Gwalior late on Sunday night.
Minister of state for public health and medical education Narendra Shivraj Patel however said that he had gone to the restaurant to inspect food and the food sample had failed the test.
Sources said the minister who was in Gwalior on Sunday to attend the marriage reception of Madhya Pradesh Assembly speaker Narendra Singh Tomar’s son visited Quality Restaurant in the night.
However, he could not get a table for dinner since the restaurant was overbooked at that time.
The staff of the hotel reportedly asked him to wait since they could not recognize him.
He was in formal dress then.
Manager of Quality Restaurant Kamal Arora however claimed that a man had reserved a table for five people for dinner.
Later, another man sought reservation (of table) for ten people.
Sources said there were heated exchanges between the followers of the minister and the hotel staff over it.
The minister later ordered the food inspection department officials to collect samples of food in the restaurant kitchen for examination.
One of the personal security officers of the minister tried to push the manager of the hotel when he tried to apologize to the minister for the incident.
No police complaint has been filed in connection with the incident.
Congress here on Monday took to social media X to slam the minister for the incident.
“A minister in the BJP government (in Madhya Pradesh) was drunk with power”, the Congress post said.
