MP: Gangrape Victim Subjected to Unimaginable Brutalization
Intestine came out of her private parts, say doctors
Bhopal: The 45-year-old tribal woman who was gang raped by two men in a village in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district last week was subjected to unimaginable brutalization during the sexual assault, doctors say.
According to a doctor who was part of the postmortem team, the intestine came out of her private parts due to insertion of some blunt objects. But since no blunt object was found at the crime spot, it was suspected that the private parts were injured with the forcible insertion of the hand by the accused.
The gangrape victim profusely bled in her private parts, leading to her death, doctors said.
Her clothes and petticoat were found drenched completely with blood when she was admitted to the hospital, a doctor said.
“I have never seen such brutality to a rape victim in my medical career”, a doctor said, unwilling to be quoted.
The middle-aged tribal woman, resident of Khalwa village, had accompanied one of her neighbors Hari Ram Kurku to a wedding function in the village on Friday night.
She reportedly went to his house and consumed liquor with him on her return from the function.
Later, another villager, Sunil Korku, joined them.
She was later found lying unconscious in Hari Ram Kurku’s place on Saturday morning, according to the police.
She named Hari Ram and Sunil as accused in her gang rape to her family members before her death, police said.
Both the accused who are also tribals have been arrested.
