Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and presented the 18-month progress report pertaining to the state to him.

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and presented the 18-month progress report pertaining to the state to him.
Mr. Yadav met the PM at the Parliament House in New Delhi and presented him a booklet titled “Virasat Se Vikas Ki Rah” (from heritage to the path of development), focused on the achievements and innovations of Madhya Pradesh, a spokesman of the state government said here.
The report highlights various aspects such as the state’s economy, industrial development, poverty alleviation, tribal welfare, farmer welfare, women empowerment, health, education, good governance, urban development, infrastructure development, tourism, and cultural preservation and environmental initiatives, the spokesman said.
He also shared with Mr. Modi details of the investment seeking tour of Dubai and Spain, undertaken recently.
He also met Union home minister Amit Shah and briefed him about the law-and-order situation in the state, besides the development made in the dairy and cooperative sectors.
The chief minister also met some other Union ministers to discuss issues related to the state, sources said.
