45-Year-Old Biker Dies After Throat Slit by Kite String in Indore

The incident occurred near the Khajrana police post in the city when the deceased, identified as Raghuveer Dhakad, was returning home on his bike late on Sunday evening, the investigating officer said.
The passersby informed his family members on phone about the incident, station house officer (SHO) of Tilak Nagar police station Manish Lodha said.
Raghuveer was rushed to a local hospital where he died during treatment, police said.
Two other people in the city were on Monday injured by the Chinese kite string. They are admitted to different hospitals, police said.
One Narendra Jamod was injured when he received a bloody cut in his throat by the Chinese kite string while riding in his bike on Sapna -Sangeeta Road in Indore.
He was rushed to the nearby hospital where he is recuperating, police said.
The third victim of Chinese kite string in the city was Ashish Raghuvamsi who received a serious injury in his throat.
He was admitted to a private hospital in Indore where he is recovering, police said.
According to the police, three people died and more than 70 persons injured after being entangled by the Chinese kite string in their faces in the city in the last five years.
Meanwhile, the Indore bench of the high court is scheduled to hear the case relating to the issue on Tuesday.
