MP Cabinet Hails PM Modi's 25 Years In Office

Mohan Yadav Slams Rahul For "Spreading Anarchy: Reports

BHOPAL: The Mohan Yadav cabinet on Monday hailed prime minister Narendra Modi for completing 25 years in public service, and highlighted the historic and transformative achievements of the Central government-led by him.

“On the completion of 25 glorious, historic, and extraordinary years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service, dedicated to good governance, development and national welfare, the cabinet unanimously passed a resolution expressing its gratitude and felicitation on behalf of more than 8.5 crore people of Madhya Pradesh”, the resolution said.

The resolution highlighted the historic and transformative achievements made by the Central government-led by Mr. Modi, such as abrogation of Article 370, and elimination of decades old Naxalism.

Chief minister Mohan Yadav said on the occasion that over his 25 years in public service, Mr. Modi had not only made ambitious commitments but also fulfilled them through tireless and relentless efforts.

From serving as chief minister of Gujarat to becoming PM of the world’s largest democracy, his tenure has been an outstanding example of sacrifice, dedication and public welfare, he said.

Mr. Yadav said that under the prime minister’s visionary leadership, the expansion of basic infrastructure, development of modern facilities, digital revolution, strengthening of manufacturing capabilities and comprehensive empowerment of the poor, deprived sections, women youth and farmers had brought memorable positive changes in the lives of citizens.

Talking to the media, Mr. Yadav accused Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi of spreading anarchy in the country.

He took a jibe at Mr. Gandhi for allegedly calling it ‘Shiv Tandav’, saying that the latter does not know about the sacredness of ‘Shiv Tandav’ and is spreading anarchy out of ignorance.

He also took a swipe at Mr. Gandhi for criticizing SIR (Special Intensive Revision) of electoral rolls, reminding him that he was elected from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat after the SIR and Congress came to power in several states after the SIR exercise in these states.

“If Mr. Gandhi is opposed to SIR, then he first should resign from Wayanad seat”, Mr. Yadav said.

He said that instead of spreading anarchy, Congress should focus on assessing its inadequacies, leading to the party’s defeat in elections, and try to remove them.
