Mangalagiri returning officer reviews counting process
Vijayawada: Mangalagiri returning officer(RO) and Guntur district joint collector Rajakumari Gania reviewed the counting process for the 87 – Mangalagiri Assembly Constituency elections.
Telugu Desam general secretary Nara Lokesh is among those contesting from this assembly constituency. Counting will take place on June 4 at the first floor of Acharya Nagarjuna University’s Civil and Mechanical block from 8 a.m.
All stakeholders must arrive by 6:30 a.m. at the counting hall, where no mobile phones will be allowed. The RO advised candidates to appoint counting agents who will not disturb the counting staff or tranquillity within the counting hall.
She said 14 tables will be set up for EVM vote counting, three tables for counting postal ballots, and one table for ETPBS counting. Candidates must appoint their counting agents accordingly.
