Man Caught Masturbating in Front of Model at Gurugram
Victim accuses police of delay; shares video online after no response to complaint
A man was caught on camera allegedly masturbating in front of a model at a busy intersection in Gurugram, sparking outrage after the woman posted about her ordeal on social media. The incident occurred around 11 am on August 2 at Rajiv Chowk, a bustling junction in the city.
The victim, a model and digital content creator with over 38,000 followers on Instagram, had arrived from Jaipur and was waiting for a cab when the disturbing act took place. In her post, she alleged that the man stood in front of her and began masturbating in public, despite the area being crowded.
She claimed that despite reporting the matter, there was a delay in police action. With no immediate response from the authorities, the model uploaded a video on August 4 detailing the incident and tagging police and officials, demanding accountability.
"I had to post publicly because my complaint wasn’t being registered,” she said in her video, urging swift action and better safety measures for women in public spaces.
The Gurugram Police are yet to issue an official statement on the incident or the status of the investigation. The video has since gone viral, with several social media users demanding justice and questioning women’s safety in urban areas.
