The draft bill was in the final stages and would be published to seek suggestions from the people after the Law and Judiciary Department approved it, he said.

Mumbai: Maharashtra School Education Minister Dada Bhuse on Tuesday said that a bill to regulate private coaching classes will be tabled in the winter session of the state legislature.
Responding to a Calling Attention Motion in the legislative council, Bhuse also said that guidelines were being prepared for pre-schools, specifying the kind of facilities they should have.
There has to be some state control over coaching classes and the Centre had issued guidelines in this regard in 2024, he said.
The Education Department was working on the Coaching Classes Registration and Regulation Bill which will look into the number of students in a coaching class, necessary infrastructure, time, qualification of teachers and the kind of advertisements such institutions can issue, the minister added.
The draft bill was in the final stages and would be published to seek suggestions from the people after the Law and Judiciary Department approved it, he said.
