Madhya Pradesh: Rahul Gandhi To Interact With Students In Indore On September 19

BHOPAL: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is set to interact with the students at the ‘Chatron Ki Goonj’ programme, scheduled to be held in Indore city in Madhya Pradesh on September 19.
The programme was earlier scheduled to be held in Indore on September 12 but it had to be deferred to September 19 since the venue had to be changed, a Congress functionary said on Wednesday.
The venue for the September 12 programme was scheduled at Nehru Stadium but the local administration has denied permission for holding the event at the site, citing some court issues, he said.
This forced the organizers to change the venue to Regional Park in the city and hence, rescheduled the programme on September 19 to make necessary arrangements in the new location, the party leader said.
Congress sources said that around 50,000 students from across Madhya Pradesh are scheduled to take part in the event.
This would be the first programme by the Congress leadership to reach out to the Gen- Z in Madhya Pradesh.
