Madhya Pradesh: Congress Uses Street Plays, Music To Woo Youths To Rahul’s Event

BHOPAL: The Congress is now busy wooing students and youths to the upcoming ‘Chatron Ki Goonj’ programme of Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi in Indore, scheduled to be held on September 19, by organizing music, dance and drama show on the streets.
The youth Congress leaders in jeans and T-shirts are seen dancing to the tunes of guitar music at public places in Indore city to reach out to the Gen Z and woo them to the programme.
They are also seen holding street dramas with contents appealing to the youths to attend the programme.
The Congress activists are also seen visiting schools and colleges to invite the students to drop in at the programme on September 19.
No Congress leader is seen in the traditional wear of the party, kurta and pyjama.
Sources said that around 1.5 lakh youths have already registered to attend the programme.
The party has launched a statewide campaign to bring students and youths to the programme.
