Madhya Pradesh: BJP Serves Show Cause Notice To Party MLA for Intimidating Police Officer
The development comes a day after a fresh threat given by the MLA to the police officer.

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh unit BJP president Hemant Khandelwal on Wednesday issued a show cause notice to party MLA Pritam Lodhi for trying to intimidate a police officer after the former’s son was questioned by the police in an accident case involving him.
Mr. Khandelwal took strong exception to the offensive behaviour by the MLA towards Ayush Jakar, the sub-divisional officer of police (SDOP) of Karera in Shivpuri district in Madhya Pradesh, and asked him to reply to the notice within three days.
The development comes a day after a fresh threat given by the MLA to the police officer.
The legislator threatened to send 10,000 people to the bungalow of the police officer and fill it with cow dung in the wake of cancellation of the driving license of his son by the police following the accident case.
MLA’s son Dinesh Lodhi rammed his SUV at a motorcycle in which three people were travelling and then two women pedestrians in Karera last week.
All the five people were injured and hospitalized.
Junior Lodhi was summoned by the police for questioning in connection with the incident.
Later, the MLA got furious at the police officer alleging that he had ordered his son not to visit Karera and told the cop in a video message that Karera is not ‘his Daddy’s land’.
The police officer however denied having issued such an order.
