SRINAGAR: A brother of horse-handler Syed Adil Hussain Shah who was killed while fighting the Pahalgam terror attackers has been given a job by the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board (JKWB). 25 Hindu tourists from various parts of the country were killed and several others injured in the gory incident on April 22.
Nazakat Ahmad Shah, a resident of Halwan Ganiegund village of Pahalgam, who himself had risked his life to rescue eleven tourists including three children from Chhattisgarh who were caught in shooting in Baisaran meadow, the scene of the terror attack, was felicitated at a function held here on Thursday and handed over the appointment letter by the JKWB chairperson and BJP leader Darakhshan Andrabi.
