Thrice-weekly service strengthens India-ASEAN connectivity and opens new tourism and cultural avenues
IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, has inaugurated direct flights between Kolkata and Siem Reap, becoming the first Indian carrier to directly connect India with Cambodia. The thrice-weekly service, operated on Airbus A320neo aircraft, strengthens IndiGo’s international network and connects India with key ASEAN markets and beyond. Siem Reap is now IndiGo’s 46th international destination and 140th overall in its expanding network.

Siem Reap, Cambodia’s second-largest city and the gateway to the iconic Angkor Wat, now offers travelers a direct route into Southeast Asia’s rich cultural heritage. With growing Indian tourist interest and simplified entry through Visa on Arrival and e-Visa options, IndiGo’s new direct flight from Kolkata is expected to make travel more convenient while boosting tourism and strengthening cultural connections between the two nations.
