Woman Shaken as Instamart Delivery Agent Returns to Her House Late at Night
Things took a turn when around 8 pm a delivery executive called her saying the refund would be cut from his payout and asked her to pay him directly
A Swiggy user has taken to X to share a recent harrowing experience she had while receiving an Instamart order on Sunday. Explaining her scary experience, she shared that she had placed an Instamart order, of which she only received a partial order. She received a refund after raising a complaint about the same.
Things took a turn when around 8 pm a delivery executive called her saying the refund would be cut from his payout and asked her to pay him directly. “He also asked for my personal number, which I refused, telling him he’d just delivered to my home and didn’t need it,” she added.
Around 11 pm, the same delivery agent, along with another person, reached her residence and asked her to come outside and take the order. Upon her refusal to do so, he pleaded that his day’s wage would be cut over this issue and insisted that she receive the remaining order from him.
“This wasn’t bad service. It was a failure that made me feel unsafe in my own home,” said the user, saying that she would not be ordering from the platform again.
