Wings India Takes Off with Spectacular Aerospace Display

HYDERABAD: Wings India, the largest civil aviation show in the country, kickstarted on a grand note at the Begumpet airport here, with aerospace giants displaying their models and several companies setting up stalls. An air show by five indigenous helicopters marked the show. There was also a drone show.

On display were 25 aircraft included Boeing's 777-9 and Airbus A350 which landed for the first time in India, as well as helicopters and aircrafts manufactured in different parts of the world. Single-engine aircraft manufacturers sought a share in the short flights market.

The show will be open to the public from 10 am on Saturday and Sunday. Parking will be at Bison Polo Ground and Wesley Boys School. Shuttle buses will be available to the venue. The price per ticket is `958 (including booking fee online).

Growth drivers of Indian civil aviation, travel and tourism market and medical tourism sector were also represented.
