Bhiwandi: Live Rat in Gulab Jamun Container; FDA Stops Business of Shop

Mumbai: Another shocking food safety video has gone viral again. A rat was reportedly spotted swimming in a container of Gulab Jamuns at a shop in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. Following the viral video, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reportedly inspected the premises and issued a notice and suspended all operations and food sales at the outlet until further orders.
The incident has raised serious concerns over food safety and hygiene.
The FDA team inspected the Harish Gulab Jamun shop. The team collected samples of the gulab jamun and prepared an official report. During the investigation, the shop was found operating without the required Food Business Registration Certificate. Subsequently, the FDA issued a stop-business notice to the shop.
