Isro scientists seek blessings of Lord Balaji for launch of Polarimeter Satellite
Isro scientists offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara atop Tirumala hills in Tirupati seeking blessings for the successful launch of the PSLV-C58 X-ray Polarimeter Satellite (XPoSat) mission and 10 other satellites to be deployed in low earth orbits, on January 1.
The scientists are set to welcome the new year with the launch of its first X-ray Polarimeter Satellite that would offer insights into celestial objects like black holes, onboard a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle rocket on Monday.
It is customary for the Isro scientists to seek the blessings of the Lord before the launch of any of their projects. Accordingly, all of the key scientists involved in the above project queued up before the Lord and sought his blessings in the success of their endeavor.
The launch comes after the success of its Gaganyaan Test Vehicle D1 mission in October.
