Bird Hunter Haribabu
Warangal: The railway police here arrested a man when a stone he aimed at a bird with his slingshot hit the Vande Bharat Express train and broke a glas, at Kazipet in Hanamkonda on Sunday.
According to the Railway Protection Force circle inspector Ch. Sanjeeva Rao, the accused, Haribabu, 60, was a resident of Jangaon district. He has been killing birds for food.
On Friday, when Haribabu was hunting birds in the outskirts of Jangaon, a stone hit the No. 20833 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express and broke its glass.
Police registering a case and started an investigation and came upon Haribabu. He tried to explain that he had misfired and hitting the train was unintentional.
