Hyderabad: Water supply woud be cut or would be available at low pressure to several areas for 24 hours from 6 am on November 2 due to work taken up by the Water Board, according to a statement issued by the water board. Normal supply is expected to resume from 6 am of November 3.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) said water supply would be disrupted to take up the work of arresting leakages on in the main pipeline from Singapur to Lingampally, near Icrisat.
The affected areas would be under Divisions IX, XV & XXIV.
Areas which will have no supply are BHEL MIG, BHEL LIG, Chandanagar, Papireddy Reddy Colony, Rajiv Gruhakalpa, Nallagandla, HUDA Colony, Gopanpally, Lingampally, Gulmohar Park, Nehrunagar, Gopinagar and Dubey Colony.
Areas which will have low pressure supply are Gopalnagar, Mayurinagar, Madhapur pumping supplies area, Malaysia pumping supplies area, Borabanda reservoir supplies area SMR, Gokul Plots.
