Hyderabad: Officials of the legal metrology department raided on a five star hotel in Golconda for selling a one-litre water bottle for Rs 120 on Monday and are likely to slap a penalty on the management.
The officials raided The Golkonda Hotel in Masab Tank and noticed that the management was selling water bottles for an amount of Rs 120 to a group of customers who had gone for lunch. Mr Sidharth Kumar, assistant controller, Legal Metrology, said “We are completing the formalities after the raid. We will decide on the penalty charged to the hotel by Tuesday morning.”
