Government school students form RRJ human chain

Vijayawada: Students of 17 government schools in several districts of Andhra Pradesh formed human chains to convey the message Rashtraniki Raksha Jagananna (elder brother Jagan is protector of the state).

Nearly 5,000 students, along with their teachers, formed rakhi-like human chains coinciding with the Raksha Bandhan on Wednesday.

Rakhi human chains formed at ZP High School, Pedathadivada in Vizianagaram district, Yadava School in Guntur, Queen Mary’s Girls School in Visakhapatnam, SSN Girls High School in Akividu, Municipal Corporation High School in Kadapa and Veldurthi ZP High School in Kurnool turned out to be big attractions.

Students recalled that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan government is striving to deliver the best education to children of Andhra Pradesh through various schemes like Amma Vodi, YSR Jagananna Vidya Kanuka, Jagananna Vasathi Deevena and Jagananna Vidya Deevena.

The students said lakhs of students are receiving financial assistance through these flagship schemes across the state.

On the occasion, they expressed their love and gratitude to the CM. Human chains in the form of rakhis went viral on various social media platforms on Wednesday.

A student said they need not worry as Jagananna is providing them books, uniforms and shoes free of cost. This has given a big relief to their parents, as they would otherwise have to incur expenditure.

YSRC MLA Kangati Sreedevi declared that girls and women have received protection during the past four years in AP due to the efforts of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
