AP Governor to participate in Purvaradhana at Mantralayam

Kurnool: The Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Justice Abdul Nazeer, will participate in the Purvaradhana programme at the Sri Math in Mantralayam on Thursday, August 31.

The Purvaradhana is a ritual performed in the lead-up to the Maharathotsavam, a major festival celebrated at Mantralayam in hononr of Raghavendra Swamy, a 17th-century saint.

The Governor will arrive at the Gannavaram Airport in Vijayawada at 10 am and will then proceed to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. From there, he will travel by road to Kurnool, where he will have a brief lunch break. He will then proceed to Mantralayam, where he will arrive at the Sri Math at 3 pm.

The Purvaradhana programme will begin at 4 pm. It will include a Nirmala Visarjanam, a Panchamrita Abhishekam, and the presentation of the prestigious Raghavendra Prashasti awards to esteemed personalities. The Governor will be honoured with the award at the ceremony.

The Governor will depart from the Kurnool airport on Friday, September 2, en route to Bengaluru.
