New Delhi: Ahead of the crucial hearing of TN's petition in Supreme Court on September 2 for release of 50.52 tmcft of water, Puducherry government on Tuesday moved an application seeking release of 57 tmcft of water, including 7 tmcft for the Union Territory.
The application filed through counsel V.G. Pragasam said unless urgent supply of water is provided the agriculturists of Karaikal region of Puducherry will suffer untold loss as well as misery.
