Janayugam was forced to go harsh on Swaraj: C N Jayadevan

He further said that rather than those leaving CPI and CPM joining RSS or BJP, it was always better that they joined any of the left parties.

Thrissur: CPI lawmaker C. N. Jayadevan says party mouthpiece Janayugam was forced to use harsh words on CPI-M legislator M. Swaraj as he was repeatedly attacking his party in an "unfair manner." “When CPI suspended P. Ramachandran Nair over the payment seat row in Thiruvananthapuram constituency in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, he joined the CPM despite holding a top post in Janayugam," he pointed out.

“He is now a district committee member of the Marxist party. But the present row is over 2,000 CPM men joining the CPI in Perumbavoor.” He further said that rather than those leaving CPI and CPM joining RSS or BJP, it was always better that they joined any of the left parties. “Rather than indulging in a verbal duel, both the communist parties need to think of reunification now, after 52 years since the split. If reunited, the left front could emerge stronger. Or else, we will have to repent one day,” he said.
