Kurnool: An audio clip between a woman and city’s YSRC MLA M.A. Hafeez Khan is circulating widely on social media, triggering controversy. Responding to the issue, Hafiz Khan told the media in Kurnool on Sunday that the opposition leaders were trying to tarnish his image.
He questioned the authenticity of the audio clip and said that he had nothing to hide. He asked if it was indeed his voice in the recording, and if so, he questioned what was inappropriate about the conversation. He alleged that the opposition parties were mentioning a clip from two years ago to create a negative opinion.
Hafiz Khan explained that many people approached him with various issues and problems, and it was his responsibility to listen to them and address their concerns. He said that there was nothing wrong with engaging in conversations with people in his constituency. He further announced that he would request the police to conduct a thorough investigation into the audio clip issue.
As per the audio clip, nothing is indecent in the conversation, but it is like a business deal.
