Hyderabad: Youth incurs loss in business, commits suicide
Hyderabad: A 19-year-old student committed suicide by hanging on Monday after incurring losses in a startup business in Jeedimetla. The police identified the victim as Vamshi Krishna.
According to the police he was studying in degree second year in Shiva Shivani Institute of Management, Kompally. He failed in four subjects in the first year and appeared for supplementary exams in June. He then reportedly lost interest in studies.
Meanwhile, he started a sports bike business by lending money from his friends. Fearing that he couldn’t clear the debts he went into depression.
Sub-inspector of Jeedimetla police Manikyam said, “He came home on Sunday at about 4.30 pm and hanged himself.” The police has registered a case under Section 174 of CrPC and an investigation is on.
