Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao came to the rescue of the residents of Karwan who were facing a problem of water scarcity.
Areas located in three Assembly segments were not receiving water for last few days as the reservoir at Bojagutta was receiving insufficient supplies. “Several col-onies are facing water scarcity,” said Gudimalkapur corporator Bangari Prakash told the minister in a Whatsapp.
Tallagadda, Karwan Sahu, Tappachabutra, Jhirrah and Talimamlapur were among the affected areas.
Following this, Mr Rama Rao instructed the Water Board to resolve the issue. By evening, there was some relief to the residents as water was pumped to the Bojagutta reservoir and supplied to the households.
