Coimbatore: ‘In a sad development, two children died of suspected dengue attack at the Government Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) here, taking the number of dengue deaths in the district to 12 in the last two months, sources said.
The deceased girls were eight-year-old Dharini (8), daughter of Jeevanantham of Vellamatai area Coimbatore and the girl's parents are daily wage earners. According to the relatives of the deceased baby, the girl suffered from viral fever for more than 15 days and was first admitted to a private hospital.
