The court had also asked the state to inform it the steps taken to prevent such events.

Kochi: The state government on Monday submitted before the High Court that they are closely monitoring demonstrations against self-financing colleges. The court had also asked the state to inform it the steps taken to prevent such events.

A batch of petitions by various colleges in the state is pending before the court.
