IAF hosts high tea' ahead of its 91st anniversary

Hyderabad: Ahead of the Indian Air Force (IAF) turning 91 on October 8, a combined 'high tea' was hosted by all IAF establishments in the city on Saturday at the College of Air Warfare (CAW), Secunderabad. The event provided an opportunity to the personnel to acknowledge the contribution by the veterans and reignite their bonding.

Air Marshal Janak Kapur (retd) was the chief guest for the function that also helped veterans to interact with their colleagues and relive memories of their service in the IAF.

From its humble beginning in October 1932, the IAF has grown to become the third largest air force in the world and is globally acknowledged as a force to reckon with. The history of the IAF is replete with examples of valour in all operations that it has been part of.
