Upgrades PHCs for Kagaznagar, Asifabad dists

Approval was given by the department for a new 30-bed community health centre at Cherla in Bhadradri Kothagudem with a fund of '10 crore

Hyderabad: The state government has approved the upgrading of a 30-bed community health centre in Kagaznagar in Komaram Bheem Asifabad to a 100-bed area hospital.

The orders were released on Tuesday by the office of health secretary Syed Ali Murtuza Rizvi, which came in response to the proposals made by the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad for the establishment of new health facilities.

The facility will be developed with an expenditure of '26 crore, sanctioned by the health department. In addition, approval has also been given by the department for a new 30-bed community health centre at Cherla in Bhadradri Kothagudem with a fund of '10 crore.
