Vijayawada: A security guard identified as Naveen Kumar Goud of Telangana state was arrested by the cyber crime police and booked for posting allegedly obscene, abusive and defamatory posts on Facebook against AP Chief Minister Y.S .Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Goud is a native of Chityala village of Gopalpet mandal in Wanaparthi district and stays at Kallakal in Manoharabad mandal of Medak district.
During questioning, Goud said he had created a Facebook account in his name which he used to post messages against Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRC leaders. Police said Goud had been arrested in 2013 for his wife suicide.
For his FB posts, Goud was booked under Sections 67 of the IT Act, and IPC Sections 153-A (promoting hatred between groups) and 505 (2) (promoting hatred between classes).
